Why L-form matters

Amino acid 10%, all of it L-form — the form crops absorb and use directly.

Raw materials

The amino acids are produced from keratin hydrolysate and seaweed extract.

10% Amino acid
How it works

The crop uses them as they are.

Amino Acid Gold supplies free amino acids — individual molecules, not bound into protein — all of them L-form.

01Two ways to the same pool

A crop normally builds its own amino acids by reducing nitrate absorbed through the roots, through several enzyme steps. Amino Acid Gold supplies free amino acids directly to the leaf, already assembled, joining the same pool from the other side.

02Crossing the leaf surface

The cuticle is not sealed. Amino acids cross it through hydrophilic pores and enter the leaf. Ours are all L-form, the configuration protein is built from; the mirror-image D-form does not fit the chain.

03Why the spray has to stay acid

Those pores are negatively charged, and the amino group only carries its positive charge below about pH 9. This is the most likely reason our 1,000 ha trial in Indonesia saw the effect disappear wherever the spray had been tank-mixed with an alkaline pesticide.

04What the pool feeds

Once in the pool, the L-form links straight into protein. Zinc-iron complex formation and proline/antioxidant responses (marked "reported" below) are documented in the literature as well.

What we will not claim. Most amino acid products are sold on the idea that supplying amino acids saves the crop the energy of reducing nitrate. We do not use that claim.

Target crop

Rice, first.

Rice is the crop we have field-trial data for.

How to use

Four sprays, across one crop cycle.

Amino Acid Gold is a foliar spray laid on top of the grower's usual fertilizer programme.

  1. Spray 1Day 30–35Vegetative
  2. Spray 2Day 50–55Vegetative
  3. Spray 3Day 70–75Turning generative
  4. Spray 4Day 90–95Generative · grain filling
  5. Spray 5Day 110–120Only if needed: stress or disease
4 L / haper crop cycle, in four sprays of 1 L/ha
5 L / haseason maximum, only when an extra spray is needed
100 ml / 17 Lproduct per knapsack tank of water, about 7 bottle caps
07–09 · 15–17hours to spray: morning or late afternoon

Spray it on its own. Do not mix it with any other chemical, pesticides included.

Keep the fertilizer programme. Amino Acid Gold is applied on top of it.

Mix fresh, spray evenly. Use a clean tank and spray straight away over the whole crop.
